The turd Astros are out. Can't even make the playoffs when handed 9 games down the stretch vs bottom feeders. Lost all 3 series. What a joke. All that talent on their roster, doesn't mean a thing this year I guess.
Baseball is going to be a little worse when he retires. What an absolute legend and Canada's own little weirdo. Loved watching him play. I was really hoping they could make the playoffs and go on a run. He absolutely deserves it.

"We are deeply saddened to share the news of the passing of Brooks Robinson," his family and the Baltimore Orioles said in a joint statement. "An integral part of our Orioles Family since 1955, he will continue to leave a lasting impact on our club, our community, and the sport of baseball."
Robinson made 18 All-Star appearances over a 23-year career spent exclusively in Baltimore, and was a member of the franchise's 1966 and 1970 World Series championship teams.
Robinson won 16 consecutive Gold Gloves (1960-75) and started 15 straight All-Star Games at third base (1960-74).
Robinson was also one of the best clutch hitters of his time, amassing 2,848 hits, 268 home runs and 1,357 RBIs. He was named AL MVP in 1964 after hitting .317 with 118 RBIs -- both career highs.

A Philadelphia Phillies fan and his emotional support alligator, Wally, were denied entry into Wednesday's game against the Pittsburgh Pirates.
The fan, identified by The Philadelphia Inquirer as Joie Henney, arrived at Citizens Bank Park walking Wally on a leash, claiming the nearly 5-foot alligator as his service animal.
The stadium's policy on support animals on the Phillies' official website states: "Certified service dogs or service dogs in training for guests with special needs are welcome. All other animals are prohibited."
It's become so obvious to every baseball fan how terrible he is, so I have to wonder...could we organize a campaign to get him fired? Think of the power of social media and internet memes to create a movement. Baseball is a pretty popular game. Could you get 1 million baseball fans sign a petition to have Angel Hernandez fired? All it would take is Jomboy or somebody else to promote it and I'm sure it would happen. The union cannot ignore something that big, could they?
