He has nothing to complain about nor does he have anyone else to blame but himself for being so one dimensional. Tons of other players on this team are producing just fine under Sutter while also playing the right way. Nobody else on this team is making the same wild passes, constantly turning pucks over and losing the most basic puck battles.

I knew his game was pretty soft even before he was a Flame, but man, I didn’t know his will was equally as soft. Treliving screwed up badly trading and re-signing this already overpaid, one dimensional, prima donna who struggles with playoff style hockey. He thinks it’s tough now in the regular season? Wait until the playoffs where the intensity is even higher, checking is even tighter and board battles + 50/50s are even more pronounced.
I don’t think Walsh tweet is meant directly that hubby is the only one unhappy. There has been many rumours going around for a while that the players in the locker room are not happy . Just days ago a poster who said he had some knowledge of what’s going on said “ players are sick of Sutters antics” .

I actually see a team playing exactly the way Sutter describes how he thinks this team can win. The only difference is our goaltending is bad. Personally I find Sutters system boring to watch .

Is Sutter too mean or is Huberdeau too soft?

My take is Huberdeau is not doing well at adjusting to a change of environment because he's had it so comfy for so long in FLA, and Sutter has also been subpar in his role by being so unpredictable and not forming good relationships with his new players early on

Blame falls on both sides. Hopefully either side is willing to take accountability for their part in things going south.

Goalies definitely aren't world beaters this year. However, the goalies are also being left out to dry constantly. So many times I just see the other team waltzing into our zone or making ridiculous cross ice passes. The Flames seem to be constantly giving up odd man rushes too.

The Flames will tie things up or get a 1 goal lead and then just seem to sit back until an inevitable mistake is made and the puck is in the Flames' net.

No. Long form isn't acceptable information now. Only tweets. From non-credibles.

For those saying that he has $84M and should be motivated enough because of money don't understand that money is a short-term motivator. Perhaps a couple weeks or so.

Real motivation comes from true desire. Whether you make $1M or $10M, your true passion for the game doesn't really change. Money is just the output of other things....hard work, passion, skill etc.

If you've ever made real money in life (and I have had the opportunity), I thought I would be so ecstatic after I made my first million, that joy lasted a few days. I don't look at my bank account for motivation. Has to come from your surroundings which is why a lot of life coaches will tell you to surround yourself with positive/other successful people.

I would like to hear from Darryl on his reluctance to make changes. How long did it take to move Lucic off the second line?

And coaches who want to win at all costs will shorten the bench with a late lead. Sutter coaches like a senile guy this year.

What else was Huberdough going to say? He knew. Walsh doesn't do this on his own.

Maybe it's Allan Walsh playing the big brain game? King of taking heat off his clients and the teams they play for?

Everybody talking about a tweet rather than a disastrous game against a "lesser" team.

Walsh playing 4D chess.

What is Huberdeau supposed to say anyway? He is working hard trying to turn into Bob Gainey and his defensive numbers show he is making incredible progress. This tweet is a distraction from that goal.

If true and Huberdeau didn't know about it then I take back everything I said.

Seems weird to have your agent put it out there, and then deny it.

What purpose does that have? It just adds another layer to the disfunction of the organization.

There's other ways to respond to the tweet if you knew but want to avoid taking credited for it vs saying " It doesn't come from me"

That's a very direct statement

Now's not the time to be brushing things off for the Flames though

They need to take accountability and elevating what they are bringing to the games

All these responses feel like lip service

Doesn't he?

I doubt MA Fleury told him to tweet a picture of the golden knights sword stabbing him in the back that time.

I'm sure Huberdeau has shared some discussions with Walsh. I'm sure Huberdeau has complained about how things are going in Calgary this year. Maybe they've even had discussions about publicly sharing some displeasure.

But did Huberdeau jump on the phone last night right after the loss and go:

"Hey Alan, send the tweet"

Doubtful.

Marek and Friedman should zip it instead of being so confident “Walsh doesn’t ever tweet without approval from the player”

BS.
