It would be peak Texans to not get the tank right this year, trade next years #1, and then inadvertently tank and end up giving away the #1 overall pick in a much better QB draft.

Maybe? Steichen worked wonders with Hurts, and he could run an offense similar to Hurts first full year as starter where they were a run heavy team to try and shield Richardson.
