Another great pass from Looch to Kadri on that chance.

Oiler fans creeping on this game will notice between yesterday and today that the Flames have demonstrated they have twice the work ethic of Woodcock's sad sack team and when the goals start going in for them, they'll pull ahead of that crummy team and not look back

Lucic is Adam Oates now

Sutter probably told Lucic to go behind the net and tap his stick for a pass.

He certainly has the size and skillset to do well in this league. If he can learn to use his size more to his advantage his lack of top end speed won't be a big hurdle. We've seen him go on hot streaks offensively already, I could see him being a great top 6 complimentary goal scorer.

it doesn't make any sense at all, but it's working

Flames have had quite a few good chances this period. Big effort on backs to backs out of Christmas.

I didn't think we would get this kind of effort back to back after 3 days off ice

they don't look gassed either, which is impressive

Smart plays by Toffoli and Lindholm there keeping it below the goal line.
