Too many disappointments in this series starting with Tkachuk and Toffoli, and then 1st pairing D. I can't believe how many players were simply embarrassed. NHL refereeing continues to be inconsistent and a joke.

The worst Part of this entire series was listening to Kelly Hrudey talk about how great and entertaining this hockey was.

The Oilers played like complete garbage for the first 5 periods
Both teams played like garbage in the 3rd game
The Flames played like garbage in the 4th game.
And the second period of this game was garbage hockey.

At the end of the day neither of these teams deserves to continue on in the playoffs. It's going to be fun watching Colorado completely trash these guys, and no amount of refs managing the the game for a tie is going to stop that.

Ughhhh…well first order of business is trade Toffolli, complete no show this playoffs. Next up mangiapane, again, not effective at all. Hanifin is next up, not impressed with him at all. Re-up Johnny, I’d see what offers we get for Tkachuk, if they’re excellent then take it. Markstrom needs a sport psychologist or he’s hurt, you don’t go from vezina calibre to….whatever it was this series. Brutal brutal post season

My 1 and only post of the series and I barely post on here anymore (have only had a couple posts the last 6 months but being on the board since 2005 I decided to post once). After game 5 against LA I felt horrible and it taught me a lot about myself as a person and the game so I won’t trash talk because I realize where I am and I know how down I felt when down 3-2 to La. Definitely happy to win the series against our biggest rival and I felt especially offensively we deserved to win with the amount of goals we scored in the series on Markstrom. The series in general was way more offensively minded then I imagined.

I’ll be back in the off-season. I feel like we will see the B of A in more playoffs over the next few years. Take it easy CP.

Mike Smith outplaying Jacob Markstrom killed the Flames in this series. I really think Sutter blew it by going back to him night after night when he was clearly rattled. He should have been pulled in game 1 when they tied it. Everything seemed to fall apart from there, can't believe he went from Vezina caliber to total liability playing the Oilers.

Agreed. I said it last PGT; if everyone played in the playoffs with his intensity and will to win, we’d be on our way to the WCF. Guy was an absolute beast. And Sutter knew it.

This pisses me off, why am I hearing a "lets go oilers" chant in the dome in a must win game without people chanting Go Flames Go louder. Instead we do some stupid "oilers suck" after it which is just pathetic.
