He fell in the draft? First I've heard that. Also doubt a prospect (before draft) unless a top prospect would tell teams he would only play for the Rangers. That sounds like something that never happened.

Fox didn’t drop in the draft. The Flames made a steal of a pick. Fox grew his stock in NCAA and that’s why he was able to take advantage the “loophole”.
There was no word of his preference for the Rangers until well after being drafted. He wouldn’t have been able to do that if he wasn’t any good. He had to get good first.

I didn't mind Singh last night. I think his inner Calgarian came to play. He was engaged.
Cassie was not enthusiastic in the slightest despite a great performance by the guys in red.
Bumbling Hrudey is incomparably better at this point if she's not going to bring some excitement for the other alberta team.

I mean, I don't believe Fox's draft position was ever tied to concerns about teams's ability to sign him.

It was directed at the ref IIRC after a couple bad calls. The goal celebration may even be for a SH goal on one of those bad calls.
