It's gonna be quite a battle for the #1 pick, Jets, Giants, Jags are all ridiculously bad, and the Bears, Texans, Falcons and Lions could all be in it as well.

Hope Gronk’s elderly ribs survive that shot he just took. Brady walked him right into that. Ouch.

Haven't seen Gronk get rocked that hard on a hit maybe ever, usually he's dishing it out.

Seattle's secondary is just horrible.
Of course it has to come against the anti-vaxxer Cousins.

I mean yes, but it's more about the scheme than anything. Guys don't get that open in the middle of the field if you have someone at the helm who knows what he's doing. It was incredibly obvious last year that this was a bad idea, when Quinn got fired the entire fanbase was clamoring to hire him on and fire KNJ into the sun, but here he still is.
Tre Flowers is really bad but other than that, I honestly don't know how to evaluate this secondary. They're not good but I'm not entirely convinced they're as bad as the DC is making them look.
Russ was focused on the wrong side of the ball when he was complaining in the offseason. I mean the O line is still awful too but it doesn't really matter if they can't get any stops. They literally had none in the first half - the only punt was as a result of Cousins tripping over the ground.

Broncos are going to be 3-0, beating three teams that are 0-3.

I looked through Ben's game stats as I was curious to see how many games he has lost with good passing yards. I ended up looking at 350+ yard games and he is 20-18. When he goes over 400 yards passing they are 4-10.

Seattle needs to be going for it there, their defense isn't good enough to trust to get stops.

Once again, the OC Wilson thinks that the targets and plays and that work in the first half should work the same in the second half, as if the other team doesnt make adjustments. Therefore he doesn't get QB Wilson to make any adjustments on the field and the Vikings pretty much know where he's going with his passes, and a 10 point comeback is going to be tough.

It's not a 10 point comeback, it's 13 or 17 because Cousins isn't getting stopped.
You always give Wilson a bunch of #### but he has absolutely no time and obviously no support on the other side of the ball, so he has to be perfect. And he can't hold up for 4 quarters like that. Even if he'd scored on that last drive it would not have mattered at all because there's just going to be another TD against 5 minutes later.

Defense is poor, for sure. Not a lot of cap space by backing the Brinks truck up for Adams and not affording decent corners. And Wilson taking a huge cap space on the other side of the ball.
Wilson he doesn't do any favours for his team either. Last season he had a scape goat in an OC, when it was him who didn't adjust after coming out hot in the first 5 games, and when other teams adjusted, it was his on field decisions, not the OC and the MVP talk went away quick, but the OC took the blame.
Last week he blew that game in the second half and OT with his stubbornness and instead of 2-1 they are now 1-2.
The last drive here, looking at Metcalf and then laser focused on Lockett and throws an INT? Penalty call gives ball back, but then back to Metcalf. Just like OT last week.
He is what he is at his point, a very good QB and certainly borderline elite, but thinks he has all the answers all the time, and while he prepares well and does all the right things, his inability to adjust in game is lacking. He doesn't take internal criticism well when he gets told he should be doing something different. And he takes up a ton of cap space which has not coincidentally meant the team has lots of other holes over these past years.
I think this is his last year at Seattle because of the cap hit and the patience that PC and JS have in a guy who's actions have split the team on many occasions internally, is wearing thin, and those two are "next man up".
Outside of Seattle hitting the jackpot in the draft or a good trade, they won't recover quickly from losing Wilson, and he will go somewhere else and excel, maybez but his need for total control of the offense and the guys around him just doesnt work in the NFL.

You're nuts. The defense gave up 21 points in the 2nd half last week. No, Wilson did not lose them that game. The guy came into this one leading the NFL in passer rating. You're barking up the wrong tree and you're always barking up the same one.
They get rid of Pete Carroll before they get rid of Wilson. And frankly it might be time for that to happen. If Wilson does leave because he's had enough of having at least one guy through the line on basically every play, I don't even blame him, and at that point Seattle becomes a 3 win team.

Dolphins kicking there is awful, odds are they won't get the ball back either way, go for the win.

Yeah. Perhaps against a divisional rival ties can be valuable but being the underdog on the road, you gotta go for the win.

Nothing like having your only good drive of the game and deciding to punt on 4th and 1 in plus territory.

How on Earth does Davante Adams keep getting man coverage? He's far too good to ever see that.

Barring a turnaround it would appear we've reached the "Time to go to Trey Lance" portion of the 49ers season.
