He is still being included in the “Flames TV” video.

- "extremely rare to see a player who is as skilled, show the mental consistency away from the puck"
- never runs out of "battery cells"
- sometimes dials it too high and ends up turning the puck over
- quickly can recognize the play off the puck
- needs to improve skating mechanics

Brad also just mentioned he's got quite an engine on him. Based on "never runs out of "battery cells"" sounds like...

"With the 13th Selection, in the 2021 NHL Entry Draft, the Calgary Flames are proud to select, from the Tesla Gigafactory, Model S."

Thanks, I haven't heard Treliving's interview yet. Coronato stated that he has no preference over any of the three forward positions.

I actually like seeing this point. It's one of the easier problems for a young player to fix with proper training. If he can do that, his ceiling goes up.

I should specify that he did just say "wing", not "right wing"...so who knows, but interesting to hear that Tree considers him a C (and he may play that spot this coming season).

Although true, I do want to point out that Gaudreau is an August Birthday and Coronato is a November birthday. So you're comparing one guy's 17 year old draft season to another guy's 18 year old draft season.

At the end of the day, some of the league's best players come from the NCAA. One of our best players comes from the NCAA. You can't just rule out drafting NCAA players.

Adam Fox said all the right things as well.

I'd he signs he will be a great add. Not nearly as a nice as a stud goalie.

If the draft year performance is neck and neck between two players from the chl and ushl/ncaa, I actually prefer the latter.

I like the track record and maturity of players that come from the system. Plus it is harder to put up eye popping numbers there, whereas many busts have in the junior leagues north of the border.

Watching his highlight video I can't tell if he has a slap shot. Seems all of his goals are wristers, tap-ins or snap shot one-timers. Quite the release.

An Undersized defensemen taken in the 3rd round is one thing.

If you’re a top-15 pick, it’s because you want to play in the NHL, not go to Harvard for four years.

His compete grade is a 9. Waiting three extra years so he can play for the Rangers would go against that.
