Merryweather's thing was apparently injuries. So if moving to the closer role allows him to deal like this and stay healthy, well... whooo.

He was supposed to be a setup guy who could play 2-3 innings, but if he's just going to go out there and throw gas like this to close games I am fine with that.

Other than the Jays, im a pretty casual baseball fan any more, but im not sure i know a single guy on the Rangers line up today other than the pitcher. Oh and Gallo of course.
