PLD is not going to gain that same benefit if the deal is Monahan for PLD. That dynamic duo is broken up and PLD will have to see if he can find the chemistry with Gaudreau to achieve success. No guarantee there. Most of these proposals are shuffling of deck chairs and thinking just that little change will stop the ship from sinking. Problem is, PLD is not just a deck chair like Monahan, he's a chair from the same set with the same characteristics. No significant change or improvement in situation.

Im not advocating getting or not getting PLD...but what kind of a question is this?
Age matters...and maybe never more than it will the next few years as the repercussions of at least one and possibly 2 full years of severely decreased revenue come into play..
Cost controlled assets are going to have more value than ever when the cap starts to come down. Having a guy at 23 who can do what a guy at 27 does....is a big advantage. PLD will still be an RFA when his nect contract comes up. Again, that matters.
Personally i hope BT doesn't move Monahan. Im really liking how he has looked this year (really small sample size for sure) but i think it was something we started to see last year with him really concentrating on his 200' game. Now it looks like is just now entering his prime IMO.
