NFL Network will be carrying it as well.

Failing that there is little doubt it will be available on a multitude of "secondary" sites. Its the only game in town at this point so the majority of the NA sporting world will be watching/streaming it IMO.

It's on abc too, but I think I heard that their telecast will be seperate, focus more on the players journeys, less on the regular draft stuff

I wouldn't take CJ at 12, I think after okudah the next group of henderson, terrell, and diggs are interchangeable

Mayock loves bama and clemson guys as well, so I dont think he'd mind waiting

If its simmons though that needs to get locked in

If simmons, lamb, and jeudy are somehow gone by 12, I'd trade down for a later 1st and 2nd plus something else depending on how far

Wouldnt mind trading down from 19 back a bit to get a 2nd as well assuming we get lamb or jeudy at 12

I've seen a few people predict the Browns will select OT Thomas from Georgia, based on need and best player likely available at #10.

More than a few think that the Pats will trade up for Tua?

I'm still assuming that Burrows is the consensus number 1 pick tonight going to the Bengals right.

How does his transition go from LSU's spread offense to the Bengals West Coast spread with a lot of shorter controlled passing to the backs?

Rookie QB's always seem to have trouble adjusting to NFL low tempo style offenses and dealing with the speed of coverage.

Just wondering what you all think of the fit?

He just seems like a special kind of guy when you read the path he took to get where he is. No obstacle has stopped him and he made some tough decisions along the way.

I can't remember who it was but a very highly regarded personel guy (Mayock maybe?) said he was the single best QB prospect he had seen since Andrew Luck. Thats heady praise. Plus coming out of the SEC, he has seen it all and he destroyed almost all of it. He is also older than your typical 1st round guy and he graduated with his first degree in 3 years at OSU before transferring....really smart kid.

Hard to ever be sure on these guys but if i was a betting man, I would wager he adjusts really well as long as the Bungles dont bungle his development and let him learn at the right pace.

Maybe...Dolphins are all over Tua and certainly have the capital to get to #3 if needed or see if he falls to them at 5.

Just cant see how they lose out on him IF he is the guy they want. No matter what BB wants.

To play a bit of the Max Kellerman here I wonder how much of Burrows and his meteoric rise was a perfect storm of coordinator, scheme, and talent. Last year he was average at best. Not saying he’s bust city but he went from 6th round guy to first overall.

Plus his career is over before it starts if he goes to the Bengals. I think we’ve all seen this movie before. Shame we will probably never know the truth about how he might be able to succeed in the NFL.

I'm curious to see where Tua and where Jalen Hurts are picked.

Not sure if was earlier in this thread but I recall reading somewhere how it really wasn't a major technical issue for the draft to be online. Only 32 connections (one per team) to the NFL offices so really not that big a deal.

Now I'm not sure of how it will work from the NFL side but I would think the teams would all be connected to NFL HQ who would be tracking everything and from there (maybe)? the league contacts Roger Goodell with each pick. So he would be on the feed from the teams, from the league office, and the one that he announces the picks with. And they NFL has reportedly set up the top 55 or so prospects with equipment to broadcast from their homes for player reaction. So now you are pushing 100 feeds just for the NFL to be monitoring. And each team will not only be linked to the league but internally to all their staff so that is another ballet for each team to coordinate.

It will actually be fascinating to see how it all goes, there are more moving parts than are apparent.

I think there is a lot of this. Not to belittle what he accomplished because it was impressive. But I think at the college level there is a lot of timing and circumstance that factor in. Unlike hockey where we can see a kid coming a few years ahead of the draft it rarely works that way for football and it's hard to get a read on someone after only a single year.

I wouldn't take a CB at 12 either as IMO there's a big drop off after Okudah but after the Apple contract fell through you have to think the Raiders will be picking a CB early. I don't want to see a reach on a guy like Jaylon Johnson.

No McShay tonight as he’s got a touch of the rona. Are we stuck with Mel Kiper and Louis Riddick only? God help us.

Biggest question mark of the draft for me is how high is someone gonna reach for Jordan Love? QB desperation + the slightest hint of Mahomes-ness could see him climb into the top 10.

Herbert will be a bust. Got Jake Locker written all over him.

If history is an indicator 2 or 3 of these first round QBs will be busts

Great teams don’t reach for QBs. Wait for one to fall into your lap

NE, Balt, KC, GB, Seattle, even Houston. Build a solid team and your QB will be successful

Other then the Mannings has a top 10 drafted QB won in the last 20 years ?

Mahomes at 10, Big Ben at 11 (close enough), Dilfer at 6. That’s it for top ten. If you expand that to first round QB it includes Rodgers and Flacco. Teams reach for QB because you need talent at that position period. Sometimes you get lucky as hell and have a HOF fall into your lap in the sixth round. Too 10 drafting teams tend to be consistently poorly run teams so it doesn’t matter how good the guy they draft is they’ll screw it up.

Forgot Dilfer was so high (he was released after super bowl so was a bust anyways)

Thought Maholmes was 11th!

I don’t think it’s sometimes you get lucky. I think having a team with talent around them creates NFL QBs as much as pure talent

I always wondered why more teams didn't do what the Redskins did in 2012 when they drafted RGIII and Cousins in the same draft. If you're desperate for a QB, why not take a couple bites at it?

I should be excited for this, but O'Brien has really killed my interest right now. I think I've stopped paying attention as a defense mechanism.
