That post specifically referred to mid-season trades, AKA adjustments to how the team is playing during a season.
Treliving has made it very clear that he is excellent at offseason trades, but he has fallen far behind his peers when it comes to changing the makeup of his team to try and save/improve seasons.

Not sure which is more important, finding the coach to scare some of these players into playing a consistent game, or finding another top 6 player to play with MT, now that the lines have reverted and MT’s new/old line mates have a total of 6 goals combined in 70 combined games.

lol,
"I wonder what's more important, having a team with talent on it or a coach who has to shine #### every night to find success"
I'm just having a little fun here but maybe a team that's been underwhelming forever doesn't need another trip around the coaching carousel.
Maybe they just need less Mangiapane/Backlund/Bennett playing 18 minutes a night.

Scorp is talking about mid-season shake up style trades; that trade was an off-season blockbuster.
Edit: super late reply, my bad

Exactly.
Rittich has struggled for quite a few games in the past little while.
Not sure why they couldn't start Talbot tonight. Maybe the staff don't have confidence in the alternative, which falls back to my point.

'Hawk announcers noticing Rittich's lack of confidence, looking back, after he actually made the save.

Well Ward isn’t BT’s head coach choice, he’s still interim, and no discredit to Ward as this was forced upon him.
It was clear the tuning out of GG, and BT knew in Feb that year he was going to hire Peters.

It's shocking how bad tkatchuk and Lindholm have been over the last 2 games.

There is a dr. Pimple Popper marathon on another channel for those of you who have suffered enough watching this and lucky enough to not have paid for a ticket to view this game live

Yeah, but he's not there to play. He's there to Sit. Watch. Wait.
