Philly's big lineups don't seem to play that big.
This seems to just be Brooklyn vs. Toronto's Bench at this point and somehow Toronto's bench is winning.

Reffing will be a huge factor against a market darling for the NBA. I know most don't think that exists, but I predict we'll have to contest with it.

Who doesn't think that exists? That obviously exists. It's the reason I always seem to have to quit watching basketball for stretches at a time. It's a problem that only gets worse when the moments get bigger and the score gets closer. Serious issue that the NBA faces. The NFL has the same problem to a somewhat lesser extent.

I hear many more deny it exists than accept it, personally. That's just anecdotal, though.

Speaking of things that irritate the crap out of me, and only loosely related to refereeing, the tendency now for everyone to scream "AND ONE" every time they go up for a contested shot inside is the most annoying bull####. They should just hand out technicals for that crap and put a stop to it.

I get that Corsi, but at the same time I'd we leery about giving refs more discretionary techs to call.
If I had a day as commissioner, I'd totally overhaul how techs are done, and give the cumulative suspension system (where players get suspensions for a cumulative number of techs) more teeth, but also take those calls out of the hands of in-game officials, who sometimes take things too personally.

NBA scores have been ridiculous. I have a conspiracy theory that the hoops in the bubble are a little bigger, as the NBA tries to win fans back. Which is good for me, I've been pounding the over since the start

Of course you're right, I was just desperately grasping for any way to get that out of the game.

Wow. Shaq is a moron. You've seen that before? Literally only two people have ever done that, and Luka did it better, against a better team... and then he hit a game winning shot at the buzzer.
No, you have not seen that before.

To paraphrase, "Luka is a great player, but I've seen this lots of times before, so maybe you shouldn't be so excited, and give more credit to other players when they do this. It was good, sure, but you're acting like it was something totally amazing, let's bring it down a notch".
Nah. That was an all time great performance.
Also, HELLO PLAYOFF POWELL NICE TO SEE YOU AGAIN

At this point I just want to see if they can hit the 150 mark. Crazy to do in a playoff game.

There it is. 150 points, and more ridiculous still, 100 points from the bench.
I tried to figure out what the record was for points from a bench in a playoff game but I wouldn't be surprised if that's it.

Must be, Wizards got 92 earlier this year.

Great series and win!
So is the next series going to start after the first round finishes or right away? I know sometimes they start series earlier than the entire round finishing.
Hopefully the Raptors get a few days off and Lowry can get some rest.
