Replay of Bob Cole calling the MTL game. A full second after the puck goes in the net and the crowd starts cheering before he says "scores".
He was truly great in his prime, but enjoy retirement.

Just an opinion, but it would be hard to believe that anyone would blame Gio for that play on McDavid. McDavid grabbed Gios stick and lost his balance.
Thankfully, the posts aren’t anchored anymore.
I remember Dave Hindmarch’s injury , in relatively the same situation only with posts anchored . Brutal!

Ya, he is at the end of his time but his voice will always be the gold standard for hockey. Hughson might call the final when we hoist the Cup this year but in my head I will hear Cole call it.
