The only thing I can think of IF he is hurt is that rest isn’t going to fix it, hence why he’s not benched. They are letting him play through it to climatize him to it.
Maybe something that needs surgery again in the off season?
Which still seems dumb, potentially doing long term dmg. Again IF he’s hurt.

hate to say it, but definitely a boring game...not a fan of the way Dallas plays.
going to need something greasy, two games in a row, playing a team that basically traps... forget the pretty play; gets pucks to the net and hope for a rebound or a tip
