You are better than this. This take is about as ridiculous as they get.
Jesus christ, the flames are in first in the West. The team just rolled off 7 wins where no team scored more than 2 goals in 6 of them(on the worst goalies ever to play the game it would seem judging by the emotional posters).
Get a grip.

I agree, the team looked good for the first 3/4 of the period, and then unfortunately everything just unraveled after the 2nd goal.
The Flames' current lack of finish is incredibly frustrating, as they out-chanced the Leafs by a wide margin in that period. My god, those f'n Leafs fans in the Dome are insufferable. Sounds like a Toronto home game in there. It's embarrassing.

Making the first line slower is not what we need. Tkachuk needs new linemates. And him and Monahan together is the worst possible combination.

I would like to see him do anything other than the blind behind the back pass. Guy has been invisible for about a month now

That would be silly to do considering he can't be at fault for any of the goals. Let the team come back out and battle for him, rather than Smith.
Anyway, the top line needs to wake up and make some noise once again. They've been very dormant for a month, and the secondary scoring has been carrying the team. They need to wake up, and be back to carrying the scoring load.

I know it’s Monday night and it’s the Silentdome and all, but getting out-cheered this badly by Leaf fans is brutal.

Working their way to a sub par 41 wins.

Yeah definitely not Rittich's fault, especially the last one. However, I think a great goalie sometimes has to make those "how did he stop that??" saves - like Anderson that period. Just sucks how if it's a difficult shot at us that should probably go in, it's going to go in because they can't stop those.
It's almost a shame Smith got hot when he did, as it made goaltending seem like not as much of an issue right at the deadline. Then as soon as it passes, it goes right back to being an issue again. Frustrating, as it's been an obvious issue almost all season.
But again, not his fault, we blew a tire there

Move Bennett or czarnik up to replace Frolik would be an adjustment I would make.

Except that there was a kicking motion. He was doing a hockey stop, which would have been fine, but he slightly pushes his skate further intentionally towards the puck at the last second. That’s a kick.

I can’t say what’s more disgusting: half of the Dome cheering for Toronto, or the other half being completely silent... This is pathetic.

Just don't split up that 3rd line then is all I ask of them.
They're creating and have a #### ton of energy

Ya this is my take too. What would you call that in soccer? It's not a deflection...
