Frustrating that they had some good looks early and didn't capitalize. Didn't even get a shot on the 2 on 1. Bennett point blank. Could have been up 2 - 0
Need a bounce. Seems they haven't gotten the bounces lately. Partly because they haven't been working for them.
And no more turnovers. Peters should start benching players for those dumb plays.

You're making the point that it was 2 on 1, and I agree with you. I also agree with the call.

Last time: I've seen similar situations result in coincidental penalties. It's reasonable to ask if the same call is made if Calgary is not down by 3 given how much game context seems to matter in penalty calling.

I averted my eyes late but that was the first time I’ve ever seen the 04 Cup presentation. Shut it off at the end of game 7 and avoided it ever since

The biggest difference IMO between these two teams is that Tampa has guys who can score from the circles, and that really opens up the slot for them. We are super guilty of over-feeding the slot and Tampa is just packing it in.
