There is no question that people will give Rittich more rope against high-danger scoring chances - but that's after he's stopped a few. Smith has a lot of good minutes to play before any rope is let out.

He made a few good saves to start the night, so I bought into the Smith=Away theory, but that lasted nearly half the first before he's outplayed yet again... by their backup... against a team playing B2B.

Maybe the fact that the team's goalie solution continues to be trading for mediocre 30+ year old goaltenders has something to do with it? They need to go out and get a legitimate #1 at some point But yea, Sigalet needs to go. Though I don't think he's the only problem. This team has a huge issue with goaltenders from top to bottom.
