How the hell did Chucky not draw a penalty there?

Flames have really frustrated the Ramgers this second period and silenced the boisterous NY fans

The way it's trending lately, if that exchange was the other way around Tkachuk would get 5 and a game. In fact I'm surprised they didn't give him the only penalty there.

Jankowski is having a much better game. Still a little off in passing but way more energy.

And some people trade away Taylor Hall.

Flames looked hung over to start that period, but that shift by the 4th line gave them all kinds of life and they took over the game in a big way. When this team gets their offence rolling, they look absolutely deadly.
Now let's have a strong 3rd and put the Rangers to bed.
Rittich has looked fantastic. If the Flames hang on and close this out, I really hope he gets the start in Montreal on Tuesday. He deserves it.

Took a look at the rule book. In a double minor situation, a goal washes out one of the minors, so 2:00 remains to serve.
In a major or match penalty, it does not matter if a goal is scored, the penalty is not washed out.

Can you imagine if the Oilers or Canucks had of picked Chucky instead? Think about having to deal with him in your conference on a rival for the majority of his career - haha!
Between Monahan and Tkachuk the gods gifted us so good.
He may be one of the best pests of all time.

That 4th line of Dube, Jankowski and Hathaway is working hard and working well as a unit. It will wear on the Rangers in the third if you keep attacking with all 4 lines.

That was a topic on HF. They were wishing the Oilers would have picked Tkachuk instead of Puljujarvi.
Their salty tears are delicious.
