Another unnecessary give away leads to a puck in the back of the net

Tkachuk did that awful giveaway, which I think is the reason that the US pulled out of the environmental agreement and why brexit happened. Then he did that awful wrist shot, with his awful mouthguard hanging out of his awful mouth. Then he starts a fight with the oilers shining white knights while they were in the middle of some charity work. Bob, what are the 5 things you hate the most about Matthew tkachuk, and as a bonus question how much speed do you think connor mcdavid had added in the offseason, as a percentage, firstly relative to his speed last season, then relative to the next fastest in the league.

Flames asleep at the wheel in this period. Very sloppy play and ugly turnovers.

The PP can no longer be a momentum killer. It was mentioned by the team, hopefully they address it.

I hope NHL head office in Toronto sorts out that goal for Yamamoto. And fast! Preseason second place is no joke

Yep. This is a problem from last season I hope they resolve. Have to step on the gas when you have a team down and almost out...finish the job.
The Flames score at least once on one of those PPs, it's sealed.

I actually don't mind that it was tied up. It will make the third more competitive. The Flames veterans have checked out a few times this preseason after they get the lead, which is probably more about the time of year and knowing these ones don't count.
Also, Peluso us a black hole out there and I feel bad for Ryan and Mangiapane as they try and actually accomplish something.

I don't mind this game ending up close really, even if it's unnecessary the way this game should have been going. Wouldn't ever want to win the final game of the preseason in a blowout.

It is still preseason but don’t like that lack of momentum after the PP

Problem with the PP tonight (IMO) is the same as last year - no threats to score from the outside, so the defensive team doesn't have to over rotate to block a shot when the puck goes from the point to the half-wall.
Neal should solve that problem

None of our goalies have played well this preseason though. One of the major concerns with Peters' system was his teams get positive shot differentials but lose due to eerily low save percentages. We need to break that trend once the season starts as it's getting a bit concerning...

I kind of think Hamonic made 2 terrible passes during that whole play that caused 2 turnovers which led to the tying goal.
