The best thing he could possibly do for himself and for Scheer would be to adopt a policy of invisible prudence. Nothing remotely controversial, be as boring as possible, pass almost solely legislation aimed at budgetary restraint, and make no news. Attempt to lull Ontario to sleep. That's probably what Ontarians would prefer anyway.

I think you're overestimating the amount of thought and nuance that goes into a vote, I would contend that the majority of votes are poorly informed and largely based on emotion and party alignment. Things can still go either way in Ontario, but it's pretty bleak that it's a mexican standoff waiting for the other guy to screw up first.

What is your proposed solution? Just not let the Conservatives govern?

Wrong again.

You can't say that the Wild Rose and the PC were the same party with the same agenda, anymore then you can simply say that the NDP and the Liberals and Greens are the same party with the same agenda.

Sounds like, must be crushing that the awesome politician got her butt kicked in by a fat guy with no plan.

the only thing that would be worse is if Andrea ran against the Corpse of Charles Manson and lost (Which would probably happen)

There have been a lot of silly things said here about the last election that could be applied to this election, but since it’s the reverse, Conservatives aren’t as interested in talking about it.

I think that’s the point. Not that Conservatives shouldn’t govern.

Not very happy today but hopefully that this is a relatively short and painless dalliance with buffoonery.

Or you know, the Liberals could have listened a little to the concerns of Ontario citizens and tried to do something about it.

What does it tell you about your platform when the party with no platform is preferred?

Considering the outgoing government left the province in shambles how is Doug Ford as PM alarming? You think an NDP government was going to dig Ontario out of their hole?

Did not realize Andrea Horwath won the election last night and that she is now premier of Ontario... according to Wikipedia.
