Good performance by spurs

They took over after PEA scored, could've had 2 by halftime and then it paid off in the 2nd half

Alli was great on Sonny's goal,. His best game since the Madrid win, hopefully it carries over to league play now

Poch took a bit of a risk playing mostly the first team tonight, most people thought he might rest a few since they only needed a point of APOEL at home to win the group, but it paid off

Now they can rest a few players for that game, which is in a busy period

Just watching those highlights of Liverpool

They are legitimately trash at defending corners, it's schoolboy stuff

ya know who else is trash at defending? Daley Blind.

Sorry to be so Backlunds_Socks in criticizing him over the years, but he drives me bonkers.

deserved loss ... zero effort and ambition in that second half. Played for the draw and rightfully paid for it.

Neville's prognostications have been less reliable of late.

Not a great day for Bayern. Loss to 'Gladbach this morning and now news that they've permanently sold Douglas Costa to Juve.

I wonder what the story is behind that, I thought he and Coman were going to be the heirs apparent to Ribery and Robben.

funny, I actually thought they made out like bandits ... €46m for Costa is crazy money. He was excellent in the first few months after they bought him, but I think he never showed that on a consistent basis afterwards. Also came off as very entitled from what I remember.

All very true, his actual production fell off a cliff and he become more of a provider, but his pace down the wing and his strength was great to watch. I have also heard that he really didnt get along all that well with the rest of the team.

Its a good fee, but at the same time, Robben and Ribery arent going to last forever. If Bayern want to stay on the plane as the big clubs they're going to have to spend some money and unfortunately PSG really went 'full Oilers' and inflated the hell out of the market.

The January window is going to be the Wild West.

Would probably be historic if Liverpool blew another 3-0 lead, although they at least can afford a draw.

You know what sir, I have had enough negativity about Liverpool's defensive abilities to fill the Ark....you're not wrong though.

Dortmund and Nikosia having a goal-differential battle to determine who goes to the EL with a whopping 2 points. Who saw that coming?

Atletico, Dortmund, Napoli, Leipzig all going to EL as it stands. Crazy.

I expect they keep it, if they allow one back Klopp has to park the bus

Don't want to mess up like Chelsea who can only draw PSG, Barca, or Besiktas at the moment for the R16. Liverpool would be the same but with Roma instead of Besiktas

5-0 is obviously safe....I think. Liverpool should maybe throw Coutinho a £350,000 a week offer soon.

If only Liverpool had a defense. The places they could go...

Its kind of like the Flames at the moment, trying to score themselves out of trouble.

Either way, I said it at the beginning and I'll sya it again, Liverpool got a sweetheart draw and they were in serious danger of blowing it.
