Reading this thread, I feel like the Ducks bring the worst out of CP more than they do the Flames.from what I see, I think the Flames can beat those dirty ugly cheap c###s####rs, when games matter the most.
I actually think that Tkachuk is a better perry than perry. I think that Monahan is a ether getzlaff than getzlaff right now. I think that backlund is a better player than Kessler, and with either a Ferland or a Tkachuk on each of the top 2 lines, kessler better stay honest.
I think that the Flames D is better than the Ducks D. Especially if Fouwler is hurt.
Also think the Flames goaltending is more dependable than the ducks.

As much as I'd like to think the Flames are much better than the ducks, we aren't there yet. I can't stand the ducks either, but you essentially just said that every one of our top players is better than their top players. The standings say different as does our extremely unfortunate 25(?) game losing streak in that building. I think in a 7 game series we have a chance, but we definitely wouldn't win by a landslide.

I didn't mean to put it that way.
In reality, I'm seeing unwarranted fear from Flames fans about a matchup vs the duck. I'm not afraid. Flames fans SHOULDNOT BE AFRAID!
I like how we matchup. I like it even better now. Hopefully some of our sleeping giants wake up, cuz if they do I will like it better.
The way I see it the Flames could beat the ducks fast, because the Flames should be the ANGRY team. Not the stupid ducks 🦆!

Can't agree with this, much as it would be nice if it were true. Getzlaf is damn good and is a game breaker that is still beyond Moneyhands, so is Perry while also being very tricky. Kessler I don't think is the same level, but he gets under the opposition's skin more than Backlund. The Ducks are a tough team that the Flames can beat, but don't match up well against.

I saw Backs at the airport and I said Backs, good luck in Anaheim as the team was leaving. And he scored a goal.
Also said the same thing to Chiasson, and I think he was genuinely shocked that someone recognized him outside of the rink haha.

Yeah, no. Not ever.
Bieksa was a key member of that awful, arrogant Canucks team for too many years for me to ever want him anywhere near the Flames. The same goes for Kesler. The fact that both are current contributors on a team that I despise nearly as much has rendered my hatred for both of them an intractable state of being.

Next time flames are in anaheim, we should not even create a GDT or GT, don't even mention this miserable streak... it might be the only way
