The negativity in this thread is almost unbearable...
The flames didn't play great but they don't deserve to be down 3-0. They have 2 periods left to play lets see what happens.
They absolutely deserve to be down 3-0. They're playing terrible hockey of late, and this was just the latest edition of how to not play the game of hockey.
I'm a super positive guy most of the time, and this team has beaten any positivity out of me over the last few games.

Hrudey saying it's the 7th game in a row where the Flames have fallen behind early. Doesn't feel like it's been that many, but man, that's awful. Something is seriously rotten with this team if they're never ready to play at the start of games.
Hard to know what to think. Hard to know what is wrong. If I were coach, I's smack them all on the side of a head with a shovel and the ones that get up can play. Very sad at the lack of effort for the last couple of weeks. Question is - who besides Engelland has any kahones to fight back?

I'm with you on all points. That said, I think they can turn it around this season. They've done it once. Perhaps Elliott will spark them.
I think its time to call up more kids from the farm just to put pressure on the current roster. Nobody's job should be safe with the way their playing.

They didn't show up against New Jersey, Nashville, and tonight against Edmonton.
They are not responding to this coach. You would think they would come flying out of the gate after a pathetic effort against Nashville but no one is ready.
That is the coach.
How can anyone who watched the game say that. They out played the Oil all period, especially the first 10mins. They got ####ty goaltending and made execution errors. None of that's on the coach. They were intense, they played the system, the players just suck.
