I just haven't seen the tire fire in Wideman's play tonight that you folks have. He's slow, but he hasn't done anything stupid that I've seen.

Last shift for example. Pretty ordinary, safe play. Obviously not worth the money, but not harmful.

The problem isn't when he makes the safe, ordinary plays, it's when he doesn't. When that happens, which is at lest 5-6 times per game, it can single-handedly sink your chances of winning.

This problem becomes worse when he's playing more than 20 minutes a night and has more opportunities to make bonehead plays.

He's just not good enough anymore, and doesn't ADD anything to the team.

Tkachuk is such a smart player. I'm impressed how well he fits in against some very tough assignments, as an 18yr old. Just awesome.
