Yeah I don't think that this is due to the rest, it's not like he hasn't picked up a ball in 11 days.
Guy is just having a poor game, likely due to the electric atmosphere and letting his emotions get the best of him.
Kind of worry that Stroman may have the same issue tomorrow. Wouldn't have minded having him in game 3.

Yup, very very unlikely they pinch hit for Pennington. Only defensive play would be bring Navarro in to catch, move Martin to 2B, and Goins to 3.
It won't happen with an inning still to play defensively. If this was bottom of the 9th then maybe.
