Brett Cecil is the Starting Pitcher/Longman/Whipping Boy/Closer/Lefty Specialist/Setup Guy that this team needs. Genuinely happy for that man and his most recent success this season. Guy has been through a lot in Blue Jays uni and deserves to have a taste of the postseason wearing it.

Always dangerous driving home and hearing the radio call of a three-run Martin homerun.
Also almost as dangerous as cussing out Smoak while driving, for what sounded like the worst at-bat ever.

I get that Osuna is the 9th inning guy, but Cecil threw only 9 pitches, he easily could have at least started the 9th. Why play with fire and the chance of Osuna being off his game when Cecil is clearly on his game and then some. Nitpicking, but one of those by the book decisions by Gibbons that I don't get.

The last time the announcers were gushing over Osuna's closing ability he had one of the most epic collapses of the year against the Red Sox. Now tonight they say the same things about his closing ability and he gives up a lead off double. I got an ugly feeling in my stomach
