Thank you Institute of Scrap Recycling Industries for having the foresight to arrange a huge fireworks show in downtown Vancouver at the very the moment the Flames won tonight's game and eliminated the Canucks.
I'm not joking. This really happened. The Institute of Scrap Recycling Industries kicked off a fireworks show in downtown Vancouver right at the end of tonight's game!!

It's been a long time since waking up at 3/4 am has felt this good! Fond memories of '04. Congratulations to the whole team and fans! Great series and an even better way of finishing it!
Extra special day since around 8 hours earlier (after 7 years) Hungary earned a spot in next year's pool A world championships.

Couldn't agree more. This is a completely new team in a new era that has absolutely nothing to do with past franchise playoff history. Over these last 2 seasons, this team is making their own history.
