Hiller looks to me like he's just hoping the puck will hit him. Would like Ramo to start the 2nd but would be very surprised to see it.

I don't blame Hiller on the 2nd goal, Wideman goes down for the block and instead screens him completely. Seguin with a perfect shot.

Well I think we are lucky. Stars hit a cross bar and missed some open nets. We are not playing well in our own zone at all. Dallas too fast in the offensive zone.

He's about as bad as they come in my opinion... I'd put him bottom three probably, not quite as bad as Healy though.

Confirmation bias. If that was the first one he let in it would likely be judged for what is was; A very well placed snipe by one of the league's best snipers through a screen by Wideman.

That second goal was very soft. Hiller didn't expect him to shoot, needs to get focused. Can't let that in during the stretch drive FFS.
First goal he also has to have, though give him a pass because his glove hand is terrible and he misses that 10/10 times.
And I like Hiller!

Dallas has a lot of offensive talent. Flames kind of play into their hands playing loose and taking penalties.

Tough one for Ferland, reckless play and 4th line rookies don't get many second chances in games like this.

No he wasn't.
The forwards who should have been there got mixed up and let Seguin walk in.

Well the 1st period is known to be the best for Dallas. Wait till we play the remaining.

It's not blaming Hiller so much as not coming up with the big save at a crucial time. It's true it was a hard accurate shot. Every once in a while you need them to save one that would usually go in.

I have no issue with the 2nd goal, it is Seguin and he was screened but that first was a real stinker and he is out of position so much. Looks bad to me.

Bouma and Backlund got crossed up near the blueline on the 2nd Dallas goal as well, letting the Stars walk right in (think it was Spezza)

penalties
Absolutely have to stop taking penalties. Can't be giving Benn, Seguin and the rest PP's.
If we can't beat the teams behind us, pack it in.
Hope for a better 2nd! Go Flames Go!

I hope Pierre McGuire is in the bottom three. He is horrible.
