IMO the Flames lines were reversed so far. 4 was the best, then 3-2-1.

After 2 periods, faceoffs are 22-14 for the Wild.
So we seemed to have righted the faceoff ship in the second period. The shots were 16-7 after 1.

The company with that puck factory has a factory in China too. I guess they didn't bring those guys on the "journey".

The Minnie announcers are crazy- they are so excitable. Flashbacks of Rob Kerr and his whirling dervishisms come to mind.. Giving me a heart failure

On the Colborne broken stick chance, right after Stajan is cutting across the crease to hunt down the puck and gets cross-checked to the ice as well.
I'm a big fan of letting teams play for the most part, but when you do something illegal to take away a scoring chance or cause a turnover you have to call something.

If someone had said before this game it would be a tie score going into the third and that Ramo would be standing on his head - we would have said bring it on!
So bring it on!

These Minnesota Wild team is much different from the suffocating boring team we used to watch a few season ago. They have some fast forwards and their defensemen loves to join the rush. I used to hate watching this team play but not this season. Flames need to block Dubnyk's view or a good rebound to beat him... oh yeah they have shoot though.

You can see why Treliving and Burke want this team to get bigger. When it comes to this time of year the interference call goes right out the window unless you blatantly body check someone without the puck. Fighting for space and body position is the key to winning, and the Flames are really struggling to do that now without the help of the referees. I hate that there's a different standard at this time of year, but it is what it is and all teams have to go through it. If nothing else this is a massive learning experience for most of these players who have never really played meaningful hockey at this time of year.

Flames need to be smarter...many of the quality chances from the Wild started as Calgary odd man rushes and they are giving the puck away with the d-men pinching
