Wow some nice play from Jooris & Raymond in the dying seconds. Jooris is on fire tonight.

I get the feeling that the flames are going to pile onto the ducks and embarrass them for the rest of the game

Russell, just unbelievable hockey. He keeps the puck in on both those goals. Just fabulous play.

Great effort by the Flames to get back into it. Once they started to skate, their speed was giving the Ducks all kinds of grief. Ducks are pretty damn scary when they get the puck in our zone, and they got us running around at the end of the period there. Flames need to find a way to fight through that and clean it up a bit.

Flames need to keep up the offensive pressure but be a little smarter in their own end

On the eve of the 7-2 rout....

Tied 2-2.

Let's go for 7 boys.

Am I the only one who isn't sure that the Gaudreau goal was actually a goal until Backlund poked it over the line? Went back and looked at it in slow motion - looked like it was headed in anyway but it was really riding the goal line! Would have been ridiculous if that one found a way to stay out as well.

Edit - Upon another viewing, definitely in prior. Crazy spin on that puck.

Anyways, huge comeback by the boys so far. Much better pace after the first 5 minutes. Refs are making things interesting.

I think the flames realize they just need to out skate and out possess the Ducks to beat them. Only time the Ducks give us grief is when the get possession inside our blueline.
