Exactly. One of the biggest challenges for a farm team is that you not only need enough bodies for injuries, but also for injury replacement for the main club.
Last year the Heat dressed 56 players if I remember correctly.
And the forward situation this year is a perfect example: 6 injuries on the big club means 6 injury replacements lost for the Scorches. They need a large roster to withstand that.
Conversely (and fortunately) the defense on both clubs has remained pretty healthy so far. As a result, extra guys around that have to sit. And the coach needs to keep rotating guys in.
