Stickers from the 1974/1975 Season. These were given out at Loblaws grocery stores back then. The strips were issued in a loop. Each strip features 8 players from different teams, and a store coupon. These 40 strips contain a total of 320 different players from that time including big names like Bobby Orr, Ken Dryden, Bernie Parent, Bobby Clarke.....this list goes on and on. Also defunct teams such as the Kansas City Scouts and the California Golden Seals are represented in this set.
I collected those!
And they weren't really stickers, you needed to glue them into their spot.
Last time I saw my old book it was falling apart, and bunch of the pages where the glue had run were stuck together. The 6 year old me wasn't concerned with the potential future value.

I can't find any photos, but does anyone remember those Coke wrap-around sunglasses that were promoted back in the 80s? A friend of mine in my after school English language classes had some and I thought at the time he was too cool to even talk to because of them.
And how about this guy?
I got his autograph when he was doing a promotion at a local McDonald's and it said; "Stay Cool!". Funny how I didn't feel cool after that though...

Based on the 80's vibe represented by the majority of these posts, I highly recommend watching The Goldbergs (if you aren't already). Great mix of comedy and nostalgia.

My cousin bought one of these for $100, I think around '84. We spent hours copying basic code for a 'car game' that took 5 minutes to load off of a cassette tape.
