Anyone else think Stoll should get a call to at least be fined for that elbow to valasics head? Definitely not the most thunderous but intentional and took him out of the game.

I think it was Vlasics leg that was injured, from going awkwardly into the boards. The elbow didn't do any damage.

Makes sense. Wouldn't think the elbow did much but I think still could be a fine. Based on how the rule is worded. The intent seemed to be there.

It was the elbow that caused him to stick on his inside edge, trapping his leg.
No injury on the initial hit.

I don't really know how to describe it.
Players play a '2-way' game differently. Datsyuk does it mostly on skill and deception. Toews does it on a mixture of skill and skating ability.
Kopitar is the most physically assertive two-way centre I can remember. His mix of size and tenacity.
He's the epitome of that 'heavy hockey' mantra.

I was expecting a lot more hate in this game after how the last one ended . Kind of disappointed in that aspect. Otherwise entertaining.
