Just need to get this to the shootout. That's where he's a tiger.

Happy to get out of that period with the lead. Berra's stinker seemed to take the wind out of their sails a bit, but thankfully they got the momentum back at the end there.

Honestly the Flames have been carrying the play the entire night, aside from a few flurries from the Wild this game has been all Flames. Proud of the Flames tonight.

Well, considering Vernie is probably 5'7, and Berra is 6'4...

Eerily similar looking goals though...

FWIW Ortio hasn't allowed a goal in regulation in the last two games and through two periods tonight.

(Did let in an OT goal in one game so the shutout streak is only 100 minutes.)

Looks like Berra went down to quickly on that Cooke goal. Nice shot but saveable.

Berra barely even moved. At least look like you're trying to save it. That was terrible.

He should have had it... but Wideman didn't need to give him that much room since they were on the PP.

Watch McGrattan get a tip in or something, that'll be the cherry on top.

Flames played a great period of hockey and all some of you can do is harp on Berra.

Hopefully they leave him there to win and call up MacDonald, if they have to.

MacDonald is injured. It's Ortio or Roy, or sign someone.
