good call

Dominik Kahun has been okay for Germany, the rest is simply awful. Will surely be between them and Norway in terms of relegation.

6 PPG for the States today. Their PP has been ridiculous so far this tournament.
There is no way if the Oil pick 1st that they don't take Ekblad. They aren't that stupid, are they?

I doubt they'll outsuck Buffalo.

I was giving them the benefit of the doubt that they won't be first or second overall again.

Did anyone else see that McDavid interview? The TSN panel over-analyzed it, but the kid is definitely feeling the pressure.

And doesn't Buffalo have the Islanders' (probably bottom 5) pick? They are quite likely to pick first. I have the feeling that Buffalo will be picking first and second

yeah but there's a condition that the Islanders can keep the pick if it's a top 10 pick. In that case, the Sabres get their 2015 first rounder. I know 2015 is supposed to be a fantastic draft, but if you're the Isles and finish near the bottom, can you really leave a top 3 pick on the table? Will be interesting for sure. My guess is that the slim chance to draft McDavid won't be enough for them to do that.

If the Isles have a top 5 pick this year and let it go to keep their pick next season they had better have Tavares sit out and ice a line-up that wins less than 10 games.

They also better be ready to have zero fans because you are basically telling your fans that not only are we huge morons for making that awful trade but we are also doing everything we can to lose every game next year.

I can't see them giving Buffalo a top 5 pick and even top 10 would be tough.

The islanders will no doubt keep the pick this year I they end up in the top 3-4. The better question is if they will give up this years pick if it's between 5th and 10th overall. They might look at this draft as being fairly weak and the best they would get with that pick is an asset that they have lots of already with guys like strome, Nilsson, grabner, etc. they might choose to save the 2015 pick which is projected to be a deep draft.
