Good on the Flames to not let the game get out of control after the first Chicago goal. I feel that Flames teams of past would've given up at least another goal before waking up

Chicago feed is pretty good. Going on about Calgary's extra strong work ethic.

The 30 shots seem high - but not too many have been dangerous chances, despite the high number.

I guess for the money he's crap but money isn't an issue on this roster so I guess he's good?

they were shooting from everywhere in the first (Berra's first game) 18 shots

12 in the 2nd seems more reflective

Most shots by Chicago are from the outside, they seem to take quick's shots whenever they can. Not too much fancy passing plays by either side.

I was about to post this exact message... Brodie is impressive playing some very difficult shifts. I don't think Stajan has played a better game as a Flame. Playing for a new contract this season & it's plain to see! I won't mention a certain goaltender for fear of jinxing him. Monahan is bossing faceoffs from what I can tell.

Backlund is wasted talent on the 4th line, so I'm happy to see him with Monahan. What is going on with Baertschi? It looks like he's over-thinking out there. I'd love to see him take a few more shots on goal instead of always looking for the pass.

Pleasantly surprised overall!

Good period for the Road guys again...Kane toyed with your coverage for our goal, the communication failure as he took it along the blue was the key...Hjammer lost Cammy in coverage from behind the net on yours...the two mistakes of the period, led to the two goals

Wrong.

Brodie showed great hockey IQ by not reaching aroung and getting a penalty. He sensed that Hossa was going to protect the puck and made his move.

Curtis Granderson with intermission shot from center ice and won a round trip ticket with an airline…like he needs it.

Sadly, the low point of the period was your guy missing EVERTHING on the Penalty shot!

The one thing I am noticing this game is the fact Berra can catch the puck unlike Ramo. This has slowed the game down and benefited Calgary.
