It was a preseason game.
Speaking of Alaska, Ortio had a 17 save shutout last night in the Aces second game of the year. He now has a 1.01GAA and 0.944 Save%.

He doesn't appear to. When he came in to take over for Berra on Friday they were making a huge deal on the broadcast that this was his first look at professional action.

Just a preseason game start. Alaska has played 2 games so far, with Ortio starting both of them. He let in 2 goals in his first game and recorded a shutout last night.

Third game in three days, not surprising to see a third period collapse. I don't think it was a good idea for a rookie's confidence to put him in goal under such circumstances either.
