Aaryn getting grilled was great tv. She came off horribly when she stared making excuses. I do think that if she knew those questions were coming, she wouldn't have made the Texas excuse. She seemed pretty surprised by the line of questioning and was caught off guard.
I do feel bad for as she was getting emotional and I felt that she was genuine in saying that she feels terrible and I felt her apology was sincere.
I'm in no way a fan of what she did but I'm also not going to pile on. Like an above poster said, I don't think she's malicious or throwing a pillow case on her head, she just said some stupid things, really stupid.
I think ignorance/naïveté is such a sorry excuse for that kind of behavior from a grown adult 2013. Aaryn looked horrible, and the fact that she tried to blame Texas just made her look even worse. She's a loser and liar. She claimed she was friends with Candace when she basically terrorized her, especially her last couple of weeks.
I don't think she was genuine in her apology at all; she was crying because she just got evicted and then made to own up to her actions. Earlier in the game when Amanda halfheartedly confronted her about her comments, Aaryn acted like a complete brat. If she had any remorse at all, she could have apologized or acknowledged her mistakes at that point.
I'm glad that she was publicly shamed on national TV. I just hope that everyone else who had a part in the racist and other malicious behavior, particularly Amanda, are also treated the same.

I think Aaron was sincere in her apology and genuinely didn't intend to offend people. She made what she considers jokes and didnt think about how others would perceive it, and didn't remember to watch her mouth with cameras and microphones running 24/7. Julie handled the questioning well, and I think Aaryn is actually a half decent person. Much, much better than Amanda. she is a vile human being
Amanda is full on self-pity mode. Crying about wanting to go, saying she wants everyone to vote to evict her over McCrae so he stays. Who knows how she will feel in 10 minutes but of course the plan of GM, Judd, Spencer and Andy is to evict McCrae barring the veto.
It's funny how delusional Amanda is, she thinks Elissa is entirely the reason she's up (except everyone in the house outside McCrae had wanted her up) and thinks it's because Elissa is jealous of her. She doesn't understand that other people want to win this game and is genuinely confused why others aren't handing the game to her, Judd went off on her for that.
And when Andy and Amanda were having a conversation in the storage room, Spencer came in and said Elissa was eavesdropping behind the door (she and Spencer I think were) so Amanda straight up slams the door open. Like as hard as she could thinking that Elissa was behind the door. When Elissa found out about it she was like "I wish she did hit me with it so she would be evicted," which I think is true but I also think it would have cost Elissa her face.
McCrae just seems defeated.

That has to be teetering on "big issue" for production. Odd situation as Elissa was never in danger but Amanda clearly had intention of hurting her if she was behind that door and that has to have the producers sweating a bit.

Thanks for posting this. I've had a few moments today to read up on reports from live feeders and I have to admit, the descriptions of The Meltdown is glorious for me. Being able to see even a quick video like this will help me get through till Sunday when I can see this epic display of madness for myself. If you feel up to it, I'd LOVE to see any more awesomeness you might happen to capture. I used to get the feeds every year up until about 2 seasons ago. Today I definitely wish I still had them.

Spoiler!
Here's the after nominations meltdown. It wasn't too huge considering Amanda was put up with McCrae. More self-pity than anything:
I think the biggest thing of yesterday's live feed was that GinaMarie has some game. I don't watch too much live feed, so maybe I've just been underestimating GinaMarie because of the show. I hated her for her earlier remarks and attacks, I kinda felt sorry for her because of the Nick stuff but yesterday she had some serious game. She seemed to tell everyone exactly what they wanted to hear in the HoH, maybe they didn't buy it, but I get the feeling everyone thinks GinaMarie is easy to manipulate and isn't a threat. I mean even Amanda thinks Elissa is at fault more than GinaMarie.
On the other hand, Andy seems like he made a mistake. I don't understand how people haven't called him out for being so two-faced with everything but he was able to get away with it somehow. Yesterday though he was comforting Amanda in the storage room (the other video) and when he came out and talked with Elissa, he even said he told Amanda that Elissa was going to try and get a rise out of her. Why would you tell Elissa that? Elissa started talking very firmly, as though Andy was a child, that Elissa hasn't been trying to start anything and she didn't appreciate it (for about 10 minutes). It was awkward and just a really boneheaded thing for Andy to say. It wasn't good game move by Elissa either as now Andy has started to campaign to get her out before Amanda (McCrae being the target this week).

Why are they targeting McCrae? Get that ho bag out already. She has no chance of winning. Even if she makes it to the end, the only vote she'll get is from McCrae.
Wow... Amanda. How delusional is she? She calls other people crazy, manipulative, horrible people etc, and yet she does the exact same thing to everyone but 100X worse.
McCrae won POV, so Amanda is history. After she is gone, maybe we can go back to liking McCrae again. You'd have to think Spencer will go up the replacement. No way he gets voted out- has no chance of winning. As much as everyone hates Amanda, this show is about to get extremely boring.
You're right Daradon, it's pretty pathetic. I mean not nearly as pathetic as reading posts about a show you don't watch and then criticizing those who do but it's up there.
It's also a game, while the drama aspect obviously gives it some ratings there's a game going on for $500,000 which is the reason many people watch it. And famous is a pretty big word for most of these guys.
Anyways, great episode tonight from start to finish.
Was bored. Got my reaction. My mom likes the show and I saw it last week at her place. Took a peek at the thread. Saw all the crazy hypocracy and just had to call you guys on it.
It's funny, 90 percent of the people here complain about the machine or the players in it, but are the biggest supporters of it.
Massively hypocritical. And yet so predictable.
Dont worry, I won't come back. Enjoy your complaining about people and morals you say you dislike, but give money to.
It's not exactly hypocrisy. I mean did you not take issue with Simon's and Berube's racist remarks that got them suspended? What about Avery and his antics, ever criticize them? I guess you're just as much a hypocrite when it comes to hockey then.
Or maybe because those transcend the game and don't have anything to do with the actual game of hockey it's alright to call them out and still be a fan of hockey without being a hypocrite. I don't know, makes sense to me.

...............bwahahaaahaaahaaaaaaaaa . Wow someone is in a bad mood today.
Aaaaand now I'll happily go back to enjoying Amanda's madness and Elissa's passive aggressiveness
Jeez what a jerk. Love when people come in here with a holier than thou attitude. I've barely watched this season, but that was a pretty dickish assertion to make. No one really gives a crap about the show in the slightest, so who cares if people like to watch it for people they don't like? That's what entertainment can be in some cases, I don't know why someone needs to make an issue of it.
It's not the best form of entertainment of course, but during the Summer at 9PM when nothing else is on, sometimes trash like this is worth a look.
I also just love when people only post only to get a reaction from someone. Do you really have nothing better to do than make a trollish post like that one?

Just watched last night's BB. Every episode that goes by, I'm still constantly shocked by how much of a c-word Amanda is.
And I just don't see why she hates Elissa so much. Is Elissa getting a good edit? Collagen lips and oompa loompa tan aside, what has she done to offend Amanda so badly? She seems to take things in stride, is pretty respectful of other people, and doesn't really insult or antagonize.
