King: The plan is to have everything up and ready for July 5th. That is the target date to do as much as they can to open for Stampede. They are going to move heaven and earth to do it.
King: Stampede has moved in generators, unsure when facility will be ready to receive them.

King: We're hoping to trade Tanguay for new sticks and pucks. Maybe jerseys too, if we can swing it.

Now I wish I would have went on the dressing room tour last Saturday. Sounds like so much has been lost. But like king said, it is only real estate.

Yeah I read it and I also made comments in reference to it, so if you check that you would have my opinion on that. Anyways hopefully we can move on and get back on topic in support of the Dome and the City.

It's going to take a long time to get the water out with only one Cup.

If there was ever a time to rebuild the dressing room, and the people in it...

Aerial view of the Saddledome:
The Corral appears to be completely dry.

Thinking logistically, the only two must haves for the start of the season are new seats in the lower bowl and an operational ice plant. They could go primitive everywhere else, including no working jumbotron. Though I doubt Daktronics would have any issues getting that all fixed inside three months.
Dressing rooms, office space and food services can all be handled in temporary fashions. Even if the players change in glorified ATCO trailers for a bit.
With enough money and workers, being open for the first game of the season is realistic. Hosting concerts in two weeks, not so much. It'll probably take a week to mostly dry out, and then demo work has to start immediately. If the jumbotron controls are ground level, I would imagine the speaker system's controls are too.

Media has just been given access to both.
I'd give it an hour and should be some on Twitter, some on Local News/Sportsnet/The Score
I know I heard Brendan Parker at the press conference so should be stuff on Global.

New ice plant sounds like a win considering how horrible the ice has been the last few years.

Is it possible that they would install a new ice plant and be able to move it over to the new building? Is that even doable?

The plant part itself I'm sure could be moved. I have no idea where in the Saddledome it is, but I'm assuming they have access to the room with large equipment.
