I think Gardiner could be had but the deal would have to be bigger. Something along the lines of Kipper + for Gardiner and something else or even a bigger deal with Kipper and Cammy for Gardiner, a pick and a salary dump like Kulemin or something.

With Cam Ward being out for a few more weeks, I would think that Jim Rutherford has to be at least contemplating making a move for a capable netminder. Carolina is only 4 points out of the SE Division lead with 3 games in hand against Winnipeg. But they are 2-7-1 in their last 10 games without Ward.
Would Carolina consider the following trade proposal?
To Carolina:
Miikka Kiprusoff
To Calgary:
Dan Ellis
Victor Rask
2nd Round Selection in 2013
Maybe add in Danny Biega somewhere if Feaster is looking for a Defenceman or another college player.

I don't really care what they get back for him. It's obvious the old guard know they're gone and have a sour taste in their mouth. Just get em going and move on. I'm enjoying this purge actually. I wasn't so sure about it before but I 'm good with this.

Maybe I'm overly optimistic but that's exactly what I'm thinking! Would suggest a goalie would probably be coming our way, maybe scrivens?
