and the puck off of Wideman's stick is indicative of the Flames overall. Can't keep puck on sticks, can't make moves without puck rolling of of stick, can't make a pass. Just so many simple things they can't seem to to right.

Time to just bring up the young guys and give them some experience. No expectations, just tell them to go do their best and learn the game.

as a side note, Wideman is exactly as advertised, oscillating between flashes of offensive prowess and major defensive lapses with a heavy dose of invisibility for long stretches
