With all the misinformation going around today, I'd be waiting for the presser for confirmation.

Presser just confirmed, yes, full band.

Sounds like it's not a "full production" show, which is probably where the confusion arrose. Sounds like it's more of a laid back show with a band as oppose to a "fireworks and stunts" kinda show.

Should be a gooder for the fans.

Well at least the Sun didn't start a totally unwarranted panic amongst his fans...

Highlights from the presser
- Yes Full Band tonight (though it sounds like stripped down productions)
- Hates scalpers, doesn't feel today's show is worth hundreds of $'s
- If he tours again with the full band/production he'd like to price Calgary tickets at $60ish again to make up for this show & quick sell out
- Best way to fight scalpers he's found is to out supply demand (eg: multi night stands)
- Honoured to be playing the 100th Stampede
- Loves his family/jesus/america etc

Not really a huge fan of his music, but he seems very appreciative of his lot in life & doesn't take it for granted.

I'm curious how with a stripped down show he'll charge $65, but with a full show he'll charge similar? I mean all those extras certainly cost money, so if he's going to take a loss on a few shows for the fans than good for him, gotta respect that

a little too late but saw an interview on CTV with him on Tuesday and he said there was no way he would do the 100th without his full band.

Someone on Stubhub has two floor seats for $2,900 each.

On Don and Joanne this morning (and thats the office choice, not mine) a woman made a $2,700 bid for 2 tickets in the 100 level but close to the stage, so $2,900 for the floor sounds about right. These literally sound like prize fight ticket prices, never heard of such absurdity for tickets.

Generally speaking doors will open an hour before the show. They don't usually mention it on tickets, just the starting time.

Looks like a lot of people are getting scammed by fake tickets on the secondary markets...yikes. What a mess.

Truly, Garth made the scalpers/scammers rich with this show. Should have done more to protect the people.

Hopefully no one got tickets printed on some sort of cracker.

Saw a bunch of ads on Kijiji about not buying from certain people. I've seen 5 or 6 different ones about people buying fakes.

There's stories on Twitter and the like as well. Also just saw on the news that X92.9, after Country 105 went down yesterday, decided to start playing listener request country. Thats awesome because a) It's a pretty cool thing to do (coming from a non-country fan) and b) Country has been played on X92.9, but not Nickelback.
