Has anyone played Anno 2070? Its taken me by surprise at just how many city building games are out there!
I have it as well, and it's not real a city building game in the traditional sense. It's more like a city builder mixed with an RTS. Think Age of Empires with larger cities and a much more complex economy.
It's a great game though. According to Steam, I am now over 80 hours played!

Tempted by the preorder thing, but I'm pretty busy this weekend so it won't really benefit me much. I'll probably just wait and save up some BEst Buy gift cards by March.
New laptop on the way...mostly due to the amount of hype surrounding this game...and the fact I needed a new computer, but Sim City put me over the edge. Do not disappoint me Maxis!
Someone point me towards a good laptop on the Bestbuy (or whatever) website that would run this game perfectly that won't break the bank. I need to get a new laptop anyways mine kinda bite the bullet last week (though I might be able to fix it) but regardless.
Not sure what your budget is but I got the Lenovo Y580 for $997 all in including taxes direct from Lenovo which I think is a pretty decent price for the amount of power you get.

So, I have been looking for awhile. The issue here is that the recommended specs for the game are not easy for a laptop to reach, at least not low-cost laptops. This is specifically due to graphics. That said, there are some options. Here are a few:

In conjunction with the new SimCity, EA is announcing SimCityEDU as well, bringing it back into the classroom. I remember playing Sim City in school on the old Macs...Great times!
I'm trying to find one of those websites that will tell me if my PC can run this, but I can't find one that has the new Sim City available for picking.
Anyway, this is me. Can anyone let me know? Can I run this? (Man I hope so!)
