His lowest optional score is Halle 45. So any tournament he plays where he gets points less than 45, it will be non-countable. Remember it's a rolling calendar so tournaments fall off after 52 weeks. That Estoril result will fall off on Monday.
BUT He beat Almagro this morning!!!!! So he's got at least 90 points for making the quarterfinals. So at the moment one 90 point result will replace another one and he will remain at 1335 points.
If for example he had lost first round in Barcelona and got 0 points, the Estoril 90 points would fall off and the Tokyo 45 points would move from non-countable to countable to fill in the gap and he would have lost 45 points. Non-countable results are like insurance.
So unless Milos has a really crappy year, that 10 points should never count in his rankings. In fact he need to do better in 500 tournaments to try and bump those 90s and 45s off his list. He shouldn't be playing in 250s at all the rest of the year.
