Taman RGMG sometimes. Now we're stuck hoping Hurl has a nice 10 year all-star career for that trade to make any sense. Maybe not quite that but Hurl needs to become an impact player probably within the next two years for that trade to look ok. Unfair expectations probably but what a stupid trade. Would Hurl have been available at #15? Quite possibly (unless the Stamps took him)

I think the winner of the first two rounds is Hamilton at this point. Edmonton might come out as the big winners depending on the NFL future of Chambers and Pasztor. BC did well. Sask had good picks with Heenan (duh) and Hurl but that was a dumb trade.

Wacky draft. I think all the teams filled some needs. Toronto took on several projects. Edmonton may have the best draft class this year if their first rounders don't stick in the NFL. Why the Stamps didn't take a flyer on Tyrone Crawford with that last pick I'm not sure. Thanks for dropping in occasionally Drake so it didn't feel like I was talking to myself the whole time. Was hoping to see one of the QBs drafted but hopefully one or two of them at least get a camp invite

No Bomber content. Lovely. I'm sure I'll def enjoy watching the Rider story though. Perhaps they'll have grainy cell phone video footage of manure being dumped on peoples lawns.

In off season stadium news the Bombers video board will be the best quality in North America second only to Dallas Cowboys stadium, and the same size as those used in the new Jets/Giants stadium in New Jersey. Very impressive for the CFL combined with BC's awesome new digs.

Getting to the point where it's time to get excited for another season. It's going to be real interesting in the west. 1 established starter in bc, a unknown in Calgary, a bum in Saskatchewan, and Edmonton with a gaping hole.

The receivers should be top notch in Calgary, solid o-line, and the best back on the cfl. If Tate can put it together we could be a dominant team offensively.
