Belgium has really come a long way as a team.

Cuba and Honduras currently playing and are 0-0 after about 35 minutes. Although I wouldn't expect that scoreline to stand, I'd say that a draw would benefit Canada by denying Honduras of the full three points and keeping that third point out of the group.
That being said, Canada's destiny is in their own hands. Just win. I don't think that it is an understatement to say that tonight's game is the most important for Canada in a number of years. I usually try and avoid hyperbole and "must win" thinking, but let's be honest - a home game against the current leader in a short round robin? This one is huge.
Edit: Should have kept my mouth shut. 1-0 to Honduras now after 40.

Well 3-0 to Honduras when all is said and done. Fairly expected, I suppose. Canada and Honduras are tied on points, but Canada with a game in hand (tonight, obviously). Win and move ahead, lose and remain tied with Honduras while Panama runs away with it. Not to mention that Canada has two away games vs. Panama and Honduras, which won't be easy.

Canada must win tonight. Everyone is going to beat Cuba, they'll have 0 points.
So it's a mini-3 team tournament for 2 spots.. Panama has 3 points, Canada and Honduras have 1.

I could see Cuba stealing a draw from someone (hopefully not Canada!), but you're quite right, it is a three horse race. Tonight will be a very telling result for Canada.
Edit: And not because I think that Cuba is any good, but because I can see one of the other squads pulling out a stinker. Canada and Panama both only managed 1-0 wins.

If Canada doesn't get a goal by 70 minutes they need to bring on Sinclair.

I don't think I've ever seen a Canadian crowd like that. Keep playing at BMO!
Canada's so smart now, the coach has trained everyone! Canadian bench wouldn't give the ball back (that was hilarious) and even down to the ball kids who wouldn't give Panama a new ball either.
All these little things matter
Now on Tuesday down in Panama, Canada can play a bit more relaxed and go for it. They are so dangerous on set plays with the height advantage.

Huge 3 pts for Canada. I was impressed with de Guzman's play mostly. Ricketts was far more of a threat than Occean I was glad to see that sub finally come.
Best way I can sum up this game was Canada snuck out a win.
Very smart play by Hutchinson to take the quick free kick.
The game in Panama is going to take alot more disipline by Canada to stop getting baited with verbal and shoving scrums. Hart should be warning them repetivly that Panama has a heavy success rate of getting opposing teams red carded in Panama.
Masssive 3 pts my heart was in my throat the last 10 minutes.

The USMNT apparently laid a giant turd in Kingston, Jamaica tonight. The 2-1 loss makes next Tuesday basically a must win. Not that anyone in this thread gives a damn.
I blame the Vuvuzelas.
