Intravenous skittles should have him up and about in no time.

When Johnny scores his first goal at the dome, will someone throw a pack of skittles on the ice?

On a side note, I picked him in my pool and a lot of people (who aren't Flames fans) had no idea who he was or why I'd "waste" a pick on this kid... Even if he plays 8 games, I'll take the 8 goals!

I think we should save the Skittles throwing until the first Johnny Hockey hat trick at the dome. Instead of hats we just throw packs of Skittles...tropical fruit, sour, original etc...what a headline that'd be.

Treliving must have forced a staff member who tried to call in sick, to come in to work and follow Johnny around all day, to ensure the tank is on... That's the only explanation.

I can just picture individual skittles littering the ice and the refs having to call for the ice-crew to locate them all.

Yeah I had that idea too, toss a big bag down and kablaaaaaamo, it explodes all over the ice and the Flames are given a delay of game penalty (this can happen, right?). I am then escorted out by security and demonized by media when the flames lose the game. End of the year it turns out that those two points would have had us finish just ahead of Edmonton @26th. Luckily we win the lottery and I am declared King for a Day. Maybe worth it, dunno

“Every day I’m here,” he’s saying this early afternoon after practice at the Scotiabank Saddledome, “is a like a present for me. You know, a gift I get to open. Not many people get the chance to be where I’m at today.

“It’s unique. Not something I take for granted.”
Season hasn't even started yet and he already has multiple entries for goal of the year, an entry for assist of the year and now one for quote of the year.

Full package imo.

If you're tossing Skittles out there, $20 says Johnny never lets the bag hit the ice in the first place.

I think everyone will forgive you as long as you yell "Catch the Rainbow"

Solution: put the bag of Skittles in a ziploc bag and put tape over the opening so it can't explode.

And hats don't hurt. A bag of skittles thrown from the upper bowl would hurt

I wonder if that motif could be worked into a 3rd jersey design?
