They sell it at Safeway and Superstore.

You can get Cherry Coke, Diet Cherry Coke, and Cherry Coke Zero in the states. I heard somebody say a convenience store in Lethbridge brought in regular Cherry Coke though.

Dark chocolate Turtles. I don't know why these were discontinued. They completely own the milk chocolate variety.

London Drugs usually stocks the personal sized packages during Christmas. You're right though - I haven't seen the boxed size in years. They were delightful.

You can make your own Cherry Coke big gulps at any 7-11 with the new style fountain machines. Or Cherry Coke Zero. Or Vanilla Coke. Or Lemon Coke. Or even Sproke (sprite + coke, tastes pretty bad).

Big ol' 6+ year bump, but this was mentioned in the US Politics thread (of course it was), the Cuban Lunch is coming back.

When Crystal Regehr-Westergard found out her mother's favourite chocolate bar was obsolete, she set out to manufacture it herself.
Thanks to her, the Cuban Lunch will soon be back in production.
Crystal Regehr-Westergard admits her story is a little nutty.
"I'm not even from the food industry, so it was kind of crazy to think I could do this, but you do crazy things for your mom," Regehr-Westergard said in an interview Wednesday with CBC Radio's Edmonton AM.
The Cuban Lunch, a confection of dark chocolate and peanuts, was originally manufactured at the Paulin Chambers chocolate factory in Winnipeg. It was a favourite of western Canadians for nearly 70 years before it was pulled from the production line.

I have never heard of the Cuban Lunch. Looks like it was discontinued just before I reached chocolate eating age.
Is it just dark chocolate and peanuts as stated in the article? That is a delicious combination but there must be something else in there to make them special. I am thinking maybe coconut which seems logical with the Cuban name.

Many of the candy stores carry them. I picked one up at the candy store in Richmond (near the bowling alley) on Saturday.

Grape Hehi. Not because I've ever had a grape nehi. But because it was Radar's favorite drink on MASH. It sounded pretty good. I think it was part of what made America great.
Also Wig Wags are now Curley Wurley's. Candy stores and British shops have them. Get the 5 pack.
