They'll be out of first place by the end of the long weekend.

The bullpen sucks but the batters including Vlad have been completely terrible.

Of all the things to be critical about right now taking after the commentators is a truly odd choice

Pressure is getting to the bats. We’ve seen this before. I have zero confidence that the Jays have a manager who can keep it all together.

Watched many many games this year and this is pretty noticeable change, so what’s the issue in my observation?

And far from the only thing critical I’m about, as you may have noticed.

We are really going to look back on those losses against the Marlins, Twins, and Pirates as massive, massive missed opportunities.

Hoffman hasn’t given up half the amount of HR in the last 3 seasons as he has in this one.

Maybe he actually is the damaged goods that the Jays ignored after two other teams passed/rejected him in the offseason.

Dominguez, as closer, is not ideal but is probably better than Hoffman. Really don’t love it though. He completely blows up fairly often but Hoffman blows up even more often.

Hoffman with the loss instead of a blown save, so that's nice for variety.

In a game you lose 4-1 some of the blame can go on the offense for not scoring more.

But if you're picking a goat the "closer" who gives up 3 runs and doesn't even get 3 outs is the obvious choice.

1 unearned run for, and only some of the blame to the offence? In this series the offence has been pure ass.

Hoffman needs to give up the closer spot. We will NOT go far, or will lose an important game in the playoffs if we continue to have him there. Given our division, we cannot afford to give up these games with the Sox and Yankees right behind us.

I don’t think anything has changed and we are lucky to have a damn good crew including Schulman who is as good as they come
So I guess just disagree and find it to be a weird thing to be complaining about

Pittsburgh has been doing us a solid against the Red Sox. That's a nice change of pace. But God damn Hoffman sucks. Jomboy media and Talking Baseball are starting to pick up on how bad he has been and posting about it. 14 homeruns given up is more than some qualified starters. Which is insane if you think about it.

I'd be happy to go "lots" of blame for the offense in this game.

The context was dunking on Hoffman, so I wanted to mention that it wasn't solely his fault. But it's definitely significantly his fault as well - he gave up 3 earned runs in 2/3 of an inning, including 2 HR in the first 4 pitches he threw.

Sucks to waste a gem from Gausman.

Hey, at least Pittsburgh stomped the Sox today. No use in getting into the post season if you can't beat teams like NYY/MIL....gotta find a W tomorrow and complete some kind of massive bullpen overhaul before next weekend.
